Cancellations
No refunds are given at any time for any reservation already booked and confirmed.
We require 24 hrs.’ notice for all *dog walking cancellations and 5 days’ notice for all ** pet sitting cancellations.
Pet sitting cancellations 5 days and before reservation a full credit will be applied to your account.
If cancelling 4-2 days before reservation date ½ of the quote will be applied to your account as a credit.
If cancelling within 24 hours of your reservation no credits are given.
Dog walking no credits will be given for cancellations after 24hrs.
*ongoing daily visits ** visits scheduled with a start and finite end date.
Last Minute Bookings
We require 7 days’ notice for all pet sitting reservations.
We require 2 days notice for all periodic dog walking reservations (or by 6pm the Friday before if reserving on a Monday or Tuesday)
All weekly ongoing dog walking reservations must be confirmed by 6pm Friday the week before.
All reservations made after the above mentioned time windows are considered last minute and are subject to a $5 fee per visit.
Payment
Cash, check or paypal is accepted.
Payment for new clients is due at time of free consultation.
Payment for existing pet sitting clients is due no later than 10 days before the start date of your reservation. You will be sent an invoice via email. If payment is not received by that date a $20 fee will be added to your bill.
Payment for all existing dog walking clients is due weekly on the last day of your reservation.
Keys
We prefer to handle keys in one of two ways:
1.The office can keep a copy of your key which will be tagged and kept in your file when not in use.
OR
2.You can keep your keys in a lockbox somewhere on your property with the code provided to the office. The code will be noted in your file. Please notify the office of any change to this code ASAP.
For your safety keys may NOT be hidden anywhere inside or outside of your property.
A fee of $25 will be applied to your reservation for pick up or drop off of your keys before or after your reservation.
Mess Clean Up
Messes including vomit, defecation, and urination made inside the house by your pet(s) are subject to a $10 clean up fee. Please consider this when scheduling your visits.
Etc…
Visits scheduled on a major holidays are double the quoted visit charge. (Christmas, New Years day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day)
When pet sitting we have a MINIMUM of 1 visit per day for cats and 2 visits per day for dogs
We reserve the right to use back up sitters when necessary.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
In the event of inclement or extreme weather during a scheduled visit dogs will NOT be walked. They will be given potty breaks only and the remaining time will be spent indoors.
We do not guarantee specific times for visits. Visits are scheduled within a time window of approx. 1-2 hours determined by route and pet sitter’s reservation schedule.
We politely decline service if there is someone home during the time of scheduled visits. If there is someone in the house during a scheduled visit the sitter will not stay and client will be charged in full.
IF SITTER FEELS UNSAFE WALKING OR WATCHING YOUR PETS SERVICES CAN BE DISCONTINUED WITHOUT NOTICE
